I'm Donating BLOOD Tommorrow
by Smoky ini'm donating blood tommorrow.
there is a blood drive at my job.. i just started this new job, and no one knows that i am a jw.. it's my first time... and i dont feel guilty about or afraid of getting df'd for it either.. i like that idea that my blood can help save a life... it is a new experience, and i'm getting all nervous, like i won some prize, and tommorrow i will recieve it.
is that weird or what?.

Has anyone ever run into someone REALLY CREEPY while out in service?

i had one guy that told us that adolph hitler was going to come back from the dead to kill all jws.
needless to say, he didn't want a copy of the watchtower!

I had a woman get out of the shower naked and open the door to peak out...she was standing in front of the side clear-glass panel. I said ; "Hi where here..to talk...about..kingdom...this...magazine...!!!!! She said not interested and closed the door. Best Witnessing day ever!
Another nut..this lady had a door with bible scriptures written on it in her kitchen. She would walk around town, rolling a C.D in front of her feet. My Pioneer partner decided he would convert her...I just faized out for afew hours making a shoping list.

Russell and his wife did not get along at all, and he did walk Rose home from Bethel to avoid Bethel brothers. To me it seems very suspect.

Bill Clinton: 'I did not have, sexual relations, with that woman...." The Witnesses make a big deal out of Russell's wife not producing Rose as a witness in the court case....how could she! Australia was far in those days. Also she only charged him with "being alone with Rose in a locked room at times...sitting on his lap, him calling her his little wife", showing her alot of attention etc. not actual sex relations more like not apropriate behavior.

Rose and Hennings turned against Russell on doctrinal matters and started their own group called "New Covenant Fellowship Melbourne", which still meets today! {has a web-site too}
Branch leader Nicolson also became Apostate in 1916 when Russell died taking half the societies property and funds and starting the "Berean Bible students Association." His wife did not follow him.
A convention where these 2 groups join up, will be held in Jan 2008 cost $210. {see website} Interesting that on Roses death certificate in the 1950's her occupation is "Author." Hennings died decades earlier. There group goes on.

It's only words like "Mien kemph" are only words...word's hurt. I would like to apologise to the people of Alabama. I was shaking with rage at deaconbluez and others comments, and I wen't off with rage....i deleated these words twice before my anger got the better of me and I posted them. I realize that as Martin Luther King preached...the best form of resistance is peaceful resistance. I returned evil for evil but I did not mean what I said and would never say that of my own accord...and sorry deconbluez that was not acceptable and very out of line, it will not happen again. I have never been to Alabama and therefore cannot pass judgement on it's people.

Wondering why Witnesses don't ask if meat is bled anymore!!!!
by Witness 007 inyears ago we were encouraged to ask your butcher if meat was bled....today no one cares!
if it's such a serious sin {like fornication} why doesn't anyone ask has this duck been properly bled?
only, one anionted sister i know washes mince under the tap to get the blood out!

German Ex Witness great qoute! So they encourage licking your cuts!!!??? Jehovah will not be pleased. Why don't they have blood cards for the butcher? I mean you go in and give him your no blood in my meat card...just to be sure. The whole point is Acts 15 says: "Abstain from BLOOD, AND THINGS STRANGLED, AND FROM FORNICATION." Like with fornication even touching is porneia, but for blood it's a conscience issue, you don't have to ask you butcher....however why ask your doctor whether he will use blood or not then?
The first edition N.W. translation says "Keep oneself free from blood..." Later more dramatic versions, "Abstain from Blood.."
